Sewing Class

Join us for hands-on sewing classes designed just for kids! Children will learn the basics of sewing while working on fun, age-appropriate projects. Children will build confidence, patience, and creativity.

During each class, children will work on projects with guided instruction. All materials will be provided. These classes are the perfect way for young makers to discover the joy of sewing. Each project will build on the previous, repeating what they learned and adding a new technique.

Goals

    •    Learn sewing machine safety & operation.

    •    Develop basic sewing skills: straight seams, pivoting, simple hems.

    •    Gain confidence by completing fun, useful projects.

    •    Encourage creativity through fabric choices and small customizations.

No prior experience necessary. 

Recommended for ages 7 and up. 

Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Next class will begin 9/16. 

• 1 Class/week $140/4 classes (save $20)
• Individual classes $40/hour
